Magnetic latching relay is mainly used in IC card prepaid meter, centralized meter reading system. In recent years, magnetic latching relays have been widely used in composite switches of reactive power compensation devices. When used in combination with SCR in composite switches, they have become the main switching devices in reactive power compensation devices to switch large current circuits. They can also be used in a variety of household appliances and automatic control devices (such as lighting control systems). 
Magnetic latching relay is a new type of relay that uses magnetic principle to control the action of circuit opening and closing. Its normally open or normally closed state is completely obtained from the action of permanent magnetic steel, and the switching state is completed by triggering a pulse electrical signal of a certain width.

Examples of magnetic latching relay:
1. Comprehensive signal. For example, when multiple control signals are input into the multi-winding relay in the prescribed form, the predetermined control effect can be achieved through comparison and synthesis.
2. Automatic, remote control and monitoring. For example, relays in automatic devices, together with other electrical appliances, can form a programmed control circuit for automatic operation.
3, expand the scope of control. For example, when the control signal of a multi-contact relay reaches a certain value, the multi-circuit can be switched on, off and connected at the same time according to different forms of contact groups.
