In the next few years, the market demand of magnetic latching relays in China will continue to increase, and an industrial system with complete product categories, certain production scale and development capacity has been initially formed.
Magnetic latching relay is an automatic switching electronic component with isolation function. It is widely used in remote control, telemetry, communication, automatic control, mechatronics and power electronic equipment. It is one of the most important control components. Therefore, the correct analysis of the development of the industry, for the future development is crucial.
Magnetic latching relay is a kind of energy saving product. It is widely used in paid electricity meters because the world promotes energy saving. At present, there are many brands of magnetic latching relays in the market, with uneven quality, and various failures and safety accidents occur from time to time in operation. For this reason, the key is that the relevant IEC requirements have not been carefully studied. This paper is based on my understanding of IEC standards and the testing method of magnetic latching relay in VDE laboratory according to its structure.
The magnetic latching relay also generates electromagnetic force by the signal current passing through the electromagnetic coil of the relay, which pulls the armature and realizes the opening and closing of contacts. However, unlike non-magnetic latching relays, the signal current can be cut off after the contact is driven, and the working state of the contact is maintained entirely by the attraction of the permanent magnet to the armature. Therefore, coil power consumption is almost zero. High-power magnetic latching relays, such as BST-902, with contact load capacity up to 250VAC and 30 ~ 100A, have been used in power sector in recent years, especially in smart electricity meters, as large current switching components.
 
For a product, production is fundamental, and sales is development. If there is no good sales channels and ways, then the enterprise will go to decline. For magnetic latching relays, physical sales is a well-known sales model, for which we should let the magnetic latching relays on the three-dimensional sales model.

The sales value of products was 642.49 billion yuan, up 31.1% year on year; The sales rate of products reached 97.3 percent, 0.8 percentage points lower than the same period last year.  
With the popularization of microelectronic technology and computer, a large number of advanced manufacturing processes have been adopted in the manufacturing process of industrial magnetic latching relay. In the future, the magnetic latching relay will also be developed in the following directions:
1. The system functions are more integrated. In the future, magnetic latching relays will be more closely combined with computers, power electronic devices and strong current control to achieve continuous control and discontinuous control.
2, is the fieldbus structure will be adjusted. In the future, the magnetic latching relay will expand the self-diagnosis function of the meter accordingly, so that the connection of the system will be easier and more reliable, which can reduce the installation cost to a certain extent. Also can control the scale variable, easy to maintain.
3, is the continuous renewal of products. With the continuous progress of technology and technological innovation, such as biosensors, optical fiber sensors, polymer sensors and other emerging sensors will continue to appear.
The rapid and wide spread of information technology of magnetic latching relay has brought mankind into an era of innovation. From analog to digital will become the mainstream of electronic products, relay products will continue to expand, technology is also constantly improving.
